Thanks, But Nothing Short of Prison Will Suffice
Archbishop Gomez’ statements are powerful and appropriate. However, I feel that nothing short of prison would suffice for Mahoney.
The corrupt cult of the Catholic Church is disintegrating. Rational people no longer believe its ridiculous fanatical myths of virgin birth and transubstantiation. Now they know that it has been harboring child rapists. It will never be what it once was.

It is incumbent upon those who witness heinous crimes against children to report them to the authorities and ensure that the offenders are arrested.

Anyone else remember this short film? It made a strong impression upon me when I saw it in school. Bill Cosby riffs on prejudice by portraying a bigot, denigrating every conceivable group, including “niggers”, whites, women, children and the elderly.
